Abby comes to Galileo with a breadth of research and consulting experience, across many categories, and clients, including many Fortune 500 companies. Abby’s foundational training is in Anthropology and Gender Studies. She has conducted fieldwork as an ethnographer in both industry and academic settings across the globe in Ghana, Mali, Japan, the UK and Spain, on complex, emotionally-charged topics such as malaria, community empowerment, gender dynamics, the economic downturn, and health insurance. Abby is particularly fascinated by the complexity of the healthcare industry, and is skilled at empathizing with participants and translating their experience into powerful story-lines. Beyond her passion for market research, Abby has experience in filmmaking, teaching dance, and is a licensed Reiki practitioner – all of which inform her unique style and approach to research.
