Dr. Nick Baylis

Nick is a consultant to Galileo, helping to infuse methodologies with the latest theory and practice from social and clinical psychology and psychotherapy. He runs regular training workshops with the Galileo team, helping to innovate and constantly evolve our toolbox.

Nick was the UK’s first ever Lecturer in Positive Psychology and The Science of Well-Being at Cambridge University, and hosted The Royal Society’s three-day Psychology Conference that included contributions from two Nobel Laureates (one of whom was Professor Daniel Kahneman). Nick’s therapy practice ranges from working with international airline captains to supporting the Health & Welfare Team at Queens’ College, Cambridge. He is a speaker and trainer for many global corporations, including Diageo, Proctor & Gamble and Unilever, as well as educational leaders around the world. Nick has been a regular psychology columnist for The Times and The Financial Times Saturday Magazine, and has made frequent guest expert appearances on the BBC. He earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from Cambridge University, is Chartered by the British Psychological Society, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a Senior Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine.
